Valentine's Day Partner Yoga

Lets face it, Valentine's Day during pandemic times leaves much to be desired..no dinner out, no date to a show but, but, but there is PARTNER YOGA.
You don't need to be a yogi but do need to be able to get up and down from the floor with ease. You will need a few props that will be described when you register.
Maybe try a new way to connect with anyone in your "pod", sweetie, family member, yoga buddy. This practice is experimental in nature and invites a playful attitude.

How about some self love during "Love Month" ? Do you take yoga classes a bunch but aren't quite sure how to get yourself going on your own? How would you like a bit of support from me and other yoga students. Midwinter is THE perfect time to love yourself up. For 4 consecutive weeks we will meet on zoom and develop sequences and strategies for getting a home practice that fits you perfectly.

Descriptions
Intro to Yoga
For people who are new to yoga or could benefit from a slow methodical review of the fundamentals of yoga. We build poses slowly from week to week with basic yoga philosophy of the Yamas and Niyamas as a foundation. No experience is necessary.
Continuing Yoga
Ideal for folks who are ready to expand their repertoire of poses. Each class begins with a long warm up. Basic poses and simple breathing practices are taught with methodical alignment and body awareness. A theme from yoga philosophy is threaded through the class.
Intermediate Yoga
Students are well versed in standing poses, basic seated poses and back bends and are ready to explore inversions, more vigorous posture flow sequences and longer holds. Pranayama (breathing control) is integrated into the practice and students are encouraged to practice on their own.
For all classes-students are asked to share their medical history for consideration for practice. Use of yoga props is encouraged. Props are provided.
